Page8 Review

Onin.London recently stayed at the gorgeous new Page8 Hotel. Conveniently located on St Martin’s Place with unspoilt views of Trafalgar Square and the National Portrait Gallery,  Page8 is home to 138 rooms, a sophisticated coffeehouse, a stunning rooftop restaurant and an alfresco bar with amazing views of the London skyline.

After a stressful day at work, a staycation at Page8 was exactly what the doctor ordered.  Staff were extremely friendly and welcomed me with a delicious glass of rosé wine before showing me up to my room.

Upon entering the room, I was in awe of the beautiful modern but cosy decor and fantastic colour scheme. It was Class with a capital C! Furnished with awesome little extras like the Marshall Speakers and the Blueair Purifer, Page8 is all about the little touches that take their hospitality to the next level. Each room also comes with a complimentary mini bar, which gets topped up every day of your stay. Perfect for when you just want to retire in your room.We had a lovely nights’ sleep as the King Size bed was extremely comfy. Not to mention, the pillows (and I say this with hand on heart) were probably the best hotel pillows I’ve had the pleasure of sleeping on.

As mentioned, above, downstairs is the Page Common, Page8’s in-house artisanal coffeehouse. Page Common serves home blend coffee sourced from Brazil, Uganda, El Salvador and  Ethiopia and brewed using the Sanremo Café Racer. It is here we had, Page8’s own blends of tea for breakfast and enjoyed a healthy fresh breakfast. My friend chose the Avocado Toast with Salmon, while I enjoyed the delectable Fig and Cheese Toast. With a delicious breakfast in our tummies, we were sad to have to leave Page8 early as we didn’t get to take advantage of the late check out. We’ll definitely be making use of this next time.

Our stay at Page8 was just what was needed and we can’t recommend this central located hotel enough. Especially as it’s right in the hustle and bustle of things, though it certainly doesn’t feel like it.

We also can’t wait for the opening of Page8’s restaurant (which was still being renovated when we visited) takes over the 618sqm of the top floor of the hotel. This new restaurant will have a wrap around alfresco, rooftop bar with 360-degree views of the London skyline. We were allowed to have a sneak peek and it it is going to be simply wonderful when it opens.

Thanks for having us come stay and we’ll hopefully be back soon!

Prices start from £220 for a double room on a room only basis.
