Feeney’s Irish Cream Review
Every Christmas, out comes an Irish cream liqueur. This year we’ve stocked our cabinets with Feeney’s Irish Cream Liqueur, which has been masterfully distilled and matured for at least three years in Abbeyleix, County Laios, Ireland. It is made with barrel-aged, single malt Irish whiskey blended with milk chocolate and the finest quality Irish dairy cream, farmed fresh from local free roaming Irish cattle.
We were pretty excited to try Feeney’s Irish Cream Liqueur as it has won several international awards. These awards include Double Gold and Silver at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
There were 6 ONIN.London writers at my house for a Pre-Christmas get-together a few weeks ago and we did a taste test of Feeney’s. Well it was unanimous – we all preferred this over a more well known brand. It’s creamy, but not too creamy and was very easy to drink. It won’t just be a Christmas staple, it’s going to be a year round must have!
We’ll be drinking Feeney’s Espresso Martinis on Christmas day! Using a cocktail shaker, shake 50ml Feeney’s Irish Cream, 25ml Espresso Coffee and 25ml Premium Vodka with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with three coffee beans. An utterly delightful creamy take on the Espresso Martini.
Overall ONIN.London is sold on Feeney’s Irish Cream – we’ll be stocking up for sure.
