Dacia launches the world’s first mud wash to get the nation ‘adventure ready’ for the New Year 

The Dacia ‘Adventure Ready’ Mud Wash launches as almost half (40%) of 4×4 drivers admit to never having taken their car off-road. The Dacia Duster is now available ‘Adventure Ready’ (pre-muddied), or ‘Showroom Ready’ – offering the perfect choice for adventure seeking car buyers.

Reimagining the car wash, the first-of-its-kind free service will swap suds for mud to get the nation in the mood for a year of adventures in 2022, as almost a quarter of Brits (22 per cent) admit to washing their car once a week. The launch comes after new research reveals that 4 in ten (40 per cent) of 4×4 drivers have never taken their car off road, while a further fifth (19 per cent) admit they’ve never even driven their 4×4 down a dirt track. Researchers polled 1,000 city-dwelling 4×4 owners and discovered they’ve hardly got their wheels muddy. According to the survey, over a third (67 per cent) said the closest owners of off-road vehicles have come to tackling “challenging terrain” is negotiating the speed bumps on the school run. 17 per cent of those polled also said they wished they could be more adventurous with their 4×4, with one in ten (13 per cent) saying their family isn’t very adventurous.
