MCM Comic Con returns to London this October!
Get ready for whirlwind weekend of jaw-dropping excitement as MCM Comic Con, the ultimate celebration of all things pop culture returns to ExCeL London from 27th – 29th October. If you’re looking for a way to spend time with your family this October half term or you are simply after a day out with your kids, MCM Comic Con is the place to be. Little adventurers can climb into the award-winning Treehouse, for a Sing Along with Elsa, spooky-themed party games and more! There will be plenty of activities to keep all the kids entertained all day long including creative workshops, Quadball (previously Quidditch) demos and light sabre training with the Silver Sabres. And remember, kids 10 and under go free with an adult ticket holder!
The Secret Garden Afternoon Tea
Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences will be serving up The Secret Garden Afternoon Tea this October half term. The tea will transport diners to a stunning Yorkshire garden with every bite. The beautifully designed pastries and delectable savoury treats have been inspired by the timeless children’s classic tale of The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The Afternoon Tea is £75 per person with a 50% discount applied to children aged 4 – 11 years. The patisserie team at the hotel includes Mayank and Dharma, the chefs who recently participated in Bake Off The Professionals on Channel 4 and reached the semi-finals.

Holland Park’s beloved pub The Mitre is currently undergoing a £750k makeover, and will be reopening its doors on 7th October. The super-premium Gastropub is well worth a visit during October Half Term, its family and dog friendly! The pub reopens with a brand-new menu and will be devised of a sensational food selection including unmissable Sunday Roasts and contemporary seafood dishes!
