Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is championing the biggest tournament of the season with the launch of a limited edition Six Nations drinks menu.
Smith & Whistle will be screening every Six Nations game in the tournament and to celebrate, the bar’s master mixologists have crafted a menu of six delicious cocktails, each one inspired by the nations taking to the pitch in this year’s iconic sporting fixture. As well as these expertly crafted drinks, rugby fans can also select a beer from the exclusive menu, with a broad spectrum of lagers, ales and stouts from each nation included in the selection.
Cocktails are priced from £16 and include England’s entry to the menu, the Red and Whites, a flavourful yet sophisticated drink to sip your way through the game. Combining classic London Dry Gin with sweet white chocolate, zesty kumquat liqueur and the acidity of delicious Supasawa, this tipple is the perfect way to cheer on England’s victory.
Say oui to Les Blues, representing France, where the delicate essence of saffron and rich Cognac are perfectly complimented by the nutty sweetness of amaretto and gingerbread. Topped with Champagne for a taste of extra elegance.
Smooth whiskey and sweet dark sherry fused with the rich depth of Guinness delivers Ireland’s entry The Shamrocks. Completed with a float of a decadent smoky single malt and a rich dark chocolate cigar, this drink is sure to offer the luck of the Irish.
Flying the flag for Italy is the Gli Azzuri, a refreshing spritz combining fragrant floral notes of Italicus with soothing chamomile and zesty grapefruit, all topped with a generous splash of premium bubbly Prosecco – saluti!
For those looking for something sweet and refreshing The Dragons, inspired by Wales, is a wonderful combination of fruity and spicy Aber Falls whiskey, Strega liqueur and lemon all expertly stirred with fresh mint and ginger ale with aromatic bitters to top.
Completing the menu with Scotland’s pick, The Thistle embodies the very best of the nation. Combining peaky notes of single malt scotch whisky with rich vanilla, tart raspberry, fruity grenadine and zesty lime, the cocktail is beautifully balanced and the perfect accompaniment for the tournament.
For visitors feeling peckish, indulge in the ultimate luxurious comfort food from the Loaded Fries menu. Comprised of five different mouth-watering dishes with something for everyone to enjoy, each order is sure to pair with the Six Nations drinks wonderfully.
