Harry’s Victoria Review

A girly catch up is always even better over a delicious lunch, and we spent a Sunday lunchtime enjoying everything Harry’s in Victoria had to offer.

The service was warm and friendly, and the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere; full of families, girls lunches and friends catching up.

The extensive menu was all really tempting, and made it very difficult to choose what to eat, so we decided to share a few dishes between us.

To start, we shared the Crudo di Tonno, thin slices of raw yellowfin tuna topped with crushed pistachios and fried artichoke crisps and the Courgette Flower, with truffled honey, mint, pine nuts and ricotta. Both were full of flavour and really light – perfect way to start the meal.

For mains, we shared the Aubergine Parmagiana and Pasta Verde – pasta with courgette strips and spinach finished with broccoli pesto, pine nuts, parmesan and creamy burrata. Both were delicious, and the portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming.

Whilst we were tempted by the iconic Harry’s Toadstool, we ordered a new addition to the dessert menu; Harry’s Amalfi Lemon. Inspired by the chef’s recent trip to the Amalfi Coast, the white chocolate and lemon cheesecake is served in the shape of a lemon, on top of lemon sorbet, crushed biscotti and toasted meringue.

As I was so spoiled for choice with the menu, I will definitely have to go back to try more of their dishes – and if they’re anything like what we ate at Harry’s Victoria, I won’t be disappointed!
