Hg London Welcomes Spring with More Fresh, Bright Flavours with Brand New Menu Items

As London shifts into spring, we may not be blessed with sunshine and blue skies every day, but we sure do deserve a daily dose of sunshine on the plate. Enter Honest Greens (known as Hg over here) with a host of brand new seasonal dishes designed to bring brightness, texture and depth to breakfast, lunch and dinner, and everything in between.

Each new dish is true to Honest Green’s philosophy of chef-led, healthy, flavour-first cooking using real, quality ingredients, served in a space designed for everyday eating.

The spring menu builds on Hg’s Mediterranean-rooted approach, incorporating vibrant vegetables, clean proteins and expressive dressings, all prepared fresh daily without refined sugars or unnecessary additives. The result is food that feels both nourishing and generous.

Among the new dishes is the Crunchy Tuna Tartare, a layered, textural plate combining fresh tuna with yellow chilli and soy, balanced by passion fruit and finished with coriander, leek and tajín. Served with a crisp corn tortilla, it delivers both sharpness and crunch in equal measure. The Green Harissa Bowl offers a deeply satisfying plant-forward option. A base of kale, spinach and lettuce is paired with seasonal asparagus, black rice, beans and a wide mix of seasonal greens including fennel, broccoli, celery and sugar snap peas. Finished with avocado, herbs, a spiced harissa dressing, sumac and a plant-based crème fraîche, it’s designed to be both nutrient-rich and full of flavour. The bowl also pairs with Hg’s new Piri-piri chicken, bringing a smoky, spiced protein option to the menu.

And that’s not all. A delectable Ginger Honey Goat Cheese Salad, brings warmth and sweetness and goes beautifully with Hg proteins such as Steak Chimichurri while Labneh Beets & Berries combines earthiness with freshness for a lighter, seasonal dish. Asparagus with Labneh and Pink Tahini highlights one of spring’s key ingredients and would work super well with Honest Salmon.

These new additions sit alongside Hg’s existing menu of market plates, garden bowls and open-fire dishes, all shaped around flexibility and choice. Guests can mix and match depending on appetite, whether opting for something light and fresh or more substantial and comforting.

Located in Soho, Hg continues to offer a calm, design-led space for everyday dining, supported by its app which allows guests to order ahead, customise meals and access full ingredient transparency.

As the season changes, Hg’s spring menu reflects a simple idea: food that feels good should still taste exceptional.
