HOUSE OF LOUNGEFLY – EXCLUSIVE EVENT HELD TO LAUNCH AW22 COLLECTION

So I’ve been to a lot of events for OnIn.London but my Disney adult loving heart could not contain my excitement on Monday as I along with other Loungefly Fans, bloggers, journalists and influencers lined up to visit the launch of the “House of Loungefly” exclusive two-day pop-up. Monday’s event welcomed invited guests, and Tuesday saw the pop-up open to the public.

Those in the know, know that Loungefly is a consistent source of collectible fashion for fans of all kinds. The brand started in a small warehouse in 1998 in Southern California and since then Loungefly has become a premiere fan-focused accessory company known for quality and design. Think backpacks, wallets, totes, crossbody bags, apparel, collectible enamel pins, and other small accessories, Loungefly’s thoughtfully curated collection for the season tells wearable stories inspired by the most beloved characters in pop culture.

The event – the first Loungefly event of its kind to be held in EMEA – was held at 15 Bateman Street in the heart of London’s Soho, was held to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new collection for Autumn/Winter 2022.

I was astounded by the collection and seriously added most of the bags to my wish list. Especially as Loungefly’s offering for the new season is bursting with a spectrum of colour, sequins, and a fun mix of shapes. I personally loved the Alice In Wonderland Bags, The Christmas and Halloween Collections and the adorable Sadness from Inside Out Bags!

Among the items exclusively revealed at the launch were a Marvel Spider-Man mini backpack with intricate spider detailing, a WB’s Looney Tunes mini backpack showcasing the beloved animated characters, a stylish handbag featuring classic scenes from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog and a green sequined mini backpack featuring an adorable bow. In addition, the first 50 visitors to Tuesday’s public event were gifted the green sequin mini backpack upon visiting the pop-up.

The evening saw us enjoying cocktails, cakes and sweets so it was a great evening exploring the five, fully immersive themed rooms, including The LoungeflyBig Top, The Enchanted Forest, Yuletide Cool, Harajuku, and a Neon Adventure. Plenty of photos were definitely taken on the evening!

We also got a sneak peak of Stitch Shoppe™, the brand’s first high-end apparel line, with fan-favourite collections that showcase their beloved licensed brands. The new Muses from Hercules Dress is gorgeous!
