Indian Accent Review

Tired of you’re regular lunch choices? Then look no further than the critically acclaimed Indian Accent in Mayfair.

Indian Accent has launched a new express lunch menu, priced at £24 per person which includes a starter, main course and five accompaniments, with the choice to add dessert for £5. This quick yet elevated Indian feast is available every day from 12pm 2.30pm, with a guaranteed 45-minute turnaround.

We visited last month and couldn’t be more impressed. To start with we had a platter of sharing accompaniments for the table which included tadka sesame vegetables, black dairy dal and traditional indian bread.

I started my meal, though with the delicious chilli pork ribs, masala crackling and nettle oil. It was mind bogglingly good. My main consisted of the Kerala seafood stew with pink pepper tadka. It is definitely the choice to have and no wonder it’s a popular dish on the menu. Definitely not one to miss.

My friends choices of the vegetarian options on the menu as recommended by the chef were equally good.

We were luckily enough to have dessert also sent to our table though these didn’t have the same feelings of utter delight that our mains induced in us. Both of us aren’t big dessert fans though as we watched other diners enjoy theirs with great gusto.

Overall we had an amazing time at Indian Accent. The cocktails and wine that accompanied our meal was a delight and we’ll definitely be back for more sneaky cocktails the next time we visit for lunch.
