Infinite Yum Cha Brunch at Yauatcha City: A Dim Sum Lover’s Dream!
Yauatcha City has truly reimagined brunch with their new Infinite Yum Cha, which launched this winter. Priced at £45 per person, this is not just a meal, but an unforgettable experience for anyone who loves Cantonese cuisine.
I hadn’t been to Yauatcha City for a sit down meal since 2017, so it was lovely to return to the venue I have such fond memories of.
The brunch kicks off with the signature Tales of Negroni cocktail, which is a delightful and unique way to start the feast. Made with Tanqueray No. TEN and a blend of plum wine, tea infusion, and even popcorn, it sets the tone for the culinary adventure ahead. For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, there’s a zero-proof version just as flavourful, and guests can also upgrade to selected wine or sparkling options. The zero-proof is perfect for Dry Jan!
The variety of dim sum on offer for the brunch is exceptional, from delicate steamed dumplings like Pork and Prawn Shui Mai and Seafood Black Truffle to delicious fried and baked options like the Venison Puff and the irresistibly sweet Char Siu Bao. These options are also unlimited, so you can be sure we did! I still dream about the Venison Puff and Seafood black truffle dumplings.
For the main course, the choices are equally impressive, with highlights including the Stir-Fried Rib Eye Beef and the Stir-fried scallop and prawn with asparagus, chilli pepper sauce. These options were fabulous. Perfectly cooked and all paired amazingly with the egg fried rice.
The meal ends on a high note with the light and fluffy Soufflé Pancake, a dessert that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. Soufflé pancakes have become viral lately and I love that I first got to try them at Yauatcha City.
With the vibrant energy of their Negroni Winter Terrace overlooking Broadgate Circle, Yauatcha City has created the perfect winter brunch spot. Whether you’re indulging in endless dim sum or sipping cocktails on the terrace, Infinite Yum Cha brings a fresh and playful twist to the traditional teahouse experience. Don’t miss it! I’m already planning my next visit back in the new year.
Available every Saturday until 12th January 2024 from 12pm-6pm, this is one brunch you won’t want to miss!
