Introducing Ace Pizza

Timed well with the news that pubs will be able to re-open from 4th July, Hackneys iconic pub The Pembury Tavern have also made their own special announcement, with the launch of their new in house pizza service ACE PIZZA. Having launched this Wednesday, the ACE PIZZA team are offering a special 50% DISCOUNT on all orders until closing on Sunday (see details below).

ACE PIZZA is the joint venture of Rachel Jones of much-loved Italian-American street food company Capish, and the legendary London brewery Five Points, a Pembury Tavern staple. Having already earnt themselves a name for being one of the area’s greatest pizza offerings, they have been using this time in Lockdown to absolutely perfect their pizzas, launching with a tantalising new menu inspired by the traditional coal-oven pizzerias of the US. There is something to please all tastes: the ‘Papa Jones’, a vegetarian spin on a takeaway favourite with vegan fennel sausage, spicy marinara, bell peppers, red onion, mozzarella, Italian herbs and garlic sauce; the ‘Honey Pie’ with spicy salami, fior di latte, fennel seeds, habanero-infused honey, guindilla chillies and pecorino; and mouth-watering vegan options like the ‘Ndon’tya’, with house-made fiery plant-based ‘nduja, Black Arts vegan mozzarella, tenderstem broccoli, rosemary and a sesame crust.

What’s more is that you can wash it all down with a delicious pint directly from the tap, with the pub serving two-pint draught bottles of the brewery’s Pale, JUPA, XPA and Pils beers to enjoy at home (or in Hackney Downs if you are a local).

To cash in your 50% off this weekend, place your order on the new mobile app and enter the voucher code ‘aceintheplace’ at the checkout. Available for home delivery and click-and-collect.
