roofeastThe Pearl will occupy one of the prime positions on the roof of a former car park in Stratford Shopping centre with outstanding views across the city and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Offering a number of bevvies from pale ale to Prosecco, be sure to try The Pearls seriously refreshing Watermelon Cooler cocktail.

James Morgan, cook and proprietor of The Hackney Pearl has also devised a bijou menu which holds a few meaty suprises as well as seasonal Salad Boxes with vegetables and herbs from GrowUp Box –the rooftop’s own aquaponic urban farm.

As well as providing a venue for an array of cultural events, Roof East will be playing host to the Rooftop Cinema Club which will be showing a range of films al fresco every Tuesday – Saturday until September!

Terrace-Peroni-001Skylounge, one of London’s most popular rooftop bars, has announced the launch of the hotly anticipated Peroni Bar on Thursday 3rd July. A stylish new Italian summer residency on one of its in-demand outdoor terraces, Skylounge’s latest launch offers stunning views across the City accompanied by delicious Mediterranean drinks and bites.

Operating alongside Cuervo’s Cantina, the Peroni Bar will be serving refreshing Italian-style beverages, including bespoke Peroni Nastro Azzurro Infusions, whilst also debuting the brand new Piccola bottles. The innovative cocktails have been blended with Peroni Nastro Azzurro to create authentic, Italian inspired drinks, including Peroni Alla Moda, with mixes the beer with vodka, Aperol, rhubarb and vanilla jam. To accompany the delicious cocktails, Skylounge will also offer an accompanying Italian platter with baked figs with gorgonzola, golden fried mozarella and prosciutto, mushroom and onion bruschetta and mortadella and black olive.

Open from 11am daily until midnight, this is the ideal spot to enjoy the sunshine in the capital. Regular tables are available on a first come first served basis.
