Mindful Chef Review

When you lead a busy life, cooking a healthy meal can be at the bottom of the list, and so most evenings can turn into quick pasta dishes or oven food. It can be time consuming picking out a recipe, buying the ingredients and then cooking, so companies like Mindful Chef who deliver fresh ingredients and a recipe card to your address, is a Godsend. Taking the stress out of leafing through a cookery book to find the perfect dish and walking up and down the supermarket aisles trying to find all the ingredients.

Recently I got two boxes sent to my address to try out. My first one was a vegan dish which was the Madeline Shaw’s Spicy chickpea taco bowl, this healthy dish, wasn’t only pretty to plate up, it tasted pretty dam good too! It was a nice filling dish, so much so that I didn’t miss the meat.

The second dish was the Madeline Shaw’s Harissa chicken kebabs, another great dish, full of flavour, this dish caught my attention so much, that I used the recipe card again and cooked the dish the following week.

One of the great things about Mindful Chef is that they believe in reducing the intake of sugar and refined carbs. As a result, they don’t deliver pasta, bread or white rice, instead they use a lot more fresh vegetables and healthy grains. Another great thing is you get to experiment with different dishes in a quick and convenient way, byebye instant noodles…

Mindful Chef have three different sizes, so you can get a box for one, two or four people. So intimate dinner parties, no longer have to be stressful.
