Nikka Days captures summer in a glass with whiskey highballs

Refreshing, elegant, light! These are just some of the adjectives you might use to describe the perfect drink to sip on a summer evening.  The easy drinking Japanese whiskey brand Nikka Days, have responded to this by launching their own series of highballs to delight all palates. 

With flavours such as yuzu, white peach & jasmine, cucumber or ginger ale, The versatile highballs have lively flavours to suit everyone.

The Whiskey Highballs:

North & South 

50ml Nikka Days

Topped up with 150ml soda

Garnished with mint sprig and lemon zest garnish

Sakura Spritz 

50ml Nikka Days over ice 

Topped up with 150ml London Essence Co. white peach & jasmine soda

Garnished with mint sprig and lemon zest garnish

Shoga Spritz 

50ml Nikka Days over ice

Topped up with 150ml ginger ale

Garnished with a lime wedge

Mountain Stream 

50ml Nikka Days over ice

Topped up with 150ml cucumber & lime tonic

Garnished with a cucumber ribbon and lime wedge 

Shibui Highball

50ml Nikka Days over ice

Topped up with 150ml Sekforde Whiskey botanical mixer

Garnished with a sprig of rosemary and an orange peel

Hokkaido Highball

50ml Nikka Days over ice

Topped up with 150ml Something & Nothing Yuzu seltzer

Garnished with a lemon wedge

Where to try one

With these foolproof recipes and your own bottle of Nikka Days, you will be able to recreate the drinks at home. If you’d prefer to get one mixed by a pro, they will be available in bars across the country including Humble Chicken, Kanpai Sake, Kanada-ya and Tonkotsu. Nikka Days has also collaborated with Milroy’s in Soho and Spitalfields who will be offering the highballs on tap, and have a programme of events throughout July and August.
