NOBU HOTEL LONDON SHOREDITCH’S FAMED
NOBU WEEKEND BRUNCH IS BACK!

Now Onin.London have visited Nobu Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch previously to try their delicious dinner menu (see here) but late last year, we got to try their iconic Nobu Weekend Brunch. And even better, we got to meet Nobu Matsuhisa. The man. The Legend. The Owner and creator of all the Nobu’s around the world. To say I was a little starstruck is an understatement.

Celebrating the weekend in style, Nobu’s Brunch takes place every Saturday in Nobu Restaurant Shoreditch, with menus designed by new Executive Chef Sandi Richmond and priced from £75 per person. Now we love Chef Sandi, she is a phenomenal Chef and if I could afford to have her cook for me full time, I would in a heart beat.

The Nobu Shoreditch Brunch has everything you need for a lively start to the weekend, with your choice of a main dish plus unlimited access to the brunch and dessert bar for £75 per person. Or, for those looking to start the celebrations earlier, diners can add on free-flowing drinks for two hours for only £35 extra at £110 per person, with a choice of Prosecco, Beer or Lychee Elderflower Coolers.

Of course we went with the free flowing Prosecco. But we had to start with a Lychee Elderflower Cooler to “line the stomach”. (Please do drink responsibly). It was light and refreshing, definitely not an overpowering taste of Lychee that we expected. Drinks flowed throughout our visit and we were glad to see others who had the same option were kept topped up throughout our time there.

The Nobu Shoreditch weekend Brunch menu includes tempting starters to share on the table, of Shishito Peppers Miso, Seasonal Miso Soup and Edamame; a variety of main dishes to choose from including Scrambled Egg Donburi, Baby Tiger Shrimp Tempura – Creamy Spicy, Beef Skewer with Anticucho or Teriyaki, and Nobu’s signature Black Cod Den Miso. The Brunch buffet – located on the sushi counter in view of the full theatre of the kitchen – will serve up a selection of salads, assorted sushi, sashimi and ceviche, and unlimited indulgent desserts to finish, including Sake Baba with pineapple, Nobu Cheesecake and Tropical Pavlova.

Now my friend who was my lucky plus one for our brunch, had not previously been to Nobu Shoreditch and she loved it. She will be making her husband take her for their anniversary.

Food wise, where do we start. Absolutely no negatives to be had. Food is flavoursome, delicious… all the positive adjectives you could ever use to describe a meal. Our favourites were definitely the Black Cod Miso and the Shrimp Tempura, not to mention all the fresh sushi. It really was my dream brunch menu. So if you’re like me and over basic bottomless brunches, this is the one to book! You will not be disappointed!!!

Nobu Weekend Brunch is available every Saturday between 12pm – 3pm from £75 per person, or £110 per person including two hours of free-flowing drinks – book now.
