John Lewis and Waitrose extend Virtual Experiences for customers looking to learn something new at home

Having basically reached the end of Netflix, we are looking for any opportunity to do something fun and creative at home, with the involvement of other people being an added bonus.

We were therefore delighted to hear that John Lewis and Waitrose are hosting virtual Zoom masterclasses, covering everything from wine and gin tasting to style talks. John Lewis are tapping into their amazing network of Partners to offer a fantastic range of events, ideal for these mundane lockdown days. Tickets to the introductory classes are free so sign up quick before all the spaces book out!

LIST OF SESSIONS:

Make the perfect Gin & Tonic – As the weather heats up, many of us are kicking back and relaxing with an ice cold G&T. Find out how to make yours like a pro with an expert Partner on hand to guide you through recreating the ultimate bar experience from how to garnish your glass as well as the different styles of gin.

An introduction to Wine & Food Pairing – Choosing what wine to pair with your expertly cooked Sunday Roast or your Friday night spag bol can be somewhat daunting. Waitrose Expert Drinks Specialist, Matt Dicks will guide food and wine lovers through which blends work with different foods.

Style Talk: How to be Bolder with Colour – Now is a perfect time to inject some splashes of colour in your wardrobe and be braver and bolder when it comes to brights. This 30 minute session with expert Stylist Peter (@jl_peterk) will provide tips on how to style colour block and blend tonal looks, giving customers confidence to experiment with new shades. Attendees are invited to bring along a colourful piece for discussion and any questions which they might have when it comes to colour in the wardrobe.
