Onin.London Stays At Nobu Hotel London Portman Square

In January, I got the absolute pleasure of getting to have a stylish stay in the heart of central London at Nobu Hotel London Portman. Spoiler alert… it was fantastic!

The hotel is located in the heart of central London’s chic Marylebone area, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square.  From the time I walked into the hotel, I could see why Nobu as a brand is so popular.

Effortlessly stylish and contemporary, in Nobu’s globally renowned style, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square features 243 guest rooms and suites, as well as a Nobu Penthouse with 360° views of central London. Nobu rooms exude a sense of calm, with a harmonious blend of natural materials, contemporary detailing and Japanese design, combining the beauty and elegance of the neighbourhood with clever and innovative design touches.

Our room was cosy and full of all the amenities I love in a hotel room. Nobu embroidered robes, smart tvs, tea and coffee stations and a cute little minibar.

After getting cosy in our room, my guest and I went down to the famous Nobu Restaurant. Here Guests can enjoy Nobu’s world-renowned signature dishes, such as Miso Black Cod, Rock Shrimp Tempura and Yellowtail Sashimi with thinly sliced jalapeño peppers, as well as offerings unique to Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, including locally-inspired dishes and exclusive sakes.

We were treated to the Omakase experience. Priced between £125 to  £150, it is so worth it. I was even more suitably impressed by the way staff were able to cater to my dietary requirements and needs. I was pretty much able to enjoy the same menu as my guest and to the same high quality. Standout dishes for me were the Black Cod Miso, tempura cooked sushi and the dessert!

After dinner we moved back upstairs to watch movies and relax before one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a long time! The beds are huge at Nobu Hotel London Portman and the pillows perfection! If I could have fit the bed and the pillows ok my suitcase I would have.

For those looking to stay fit, focussed and relaxed, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is also the home of the world’s first Nobu Pilates studio. Known in London as the hottest studio to be seen in and with a cult following, Nobu Pilates has amassed a reputation as the Pilates studio that sets the standard for Pilates practice.

While my friend was enjoying the gym facilities the next morning, I ventured down to the restaurant for one of my favourite reasons for hotel stays… breakfast! I had the English Breakfast and it was great. Miso Beans are a must!!

Rooms at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square start at £399.00. The Hotel is a must stay and with Valentine’s Day coming up, it’s the perfect place to spend a evening with your date!
