Original Sin Bar Stoke Newington Review

I’d had a crazy week at work and would’ve never thought that my Friday night out would be steps away from my front door. Stoke Newington High Street is best known for its trendy and stylish restaurants and eateries, and I must say that Original Sin was placed in such a perfect location, on a street around the corner from the high street and was noticeably the only bar on a particular road.

Looking at the unique drinks menu involved me asking several questions to the helpful, smiley and stylish bar staff, such as Rachel. I had told her how picky I can be when picking cocktails, and asked for sweet flavours that I fancy – I was served a Penfold Sour which was my ultimate fave; Byrrh, Kamm & Sons, aquavit, lime, and more! Rachel mentioned that certain flavours would tingle the back of my mouth and it did in a good way!

The atmosphere genuinely made me feel as though I was in Central London where I would usually dread the long commute back home. Not this time. Original Sin will definitely get another visit from me. Whether it’s for a casual drink to ‘get-away’ and be in calm surroundings, or to kick back and play snooker with friends that also live nearby.

Great customer service, impressive bar work, friendly locals, and local. I can’t complain! Original Sin is in its fourth month of opening and I have nothing but high hopes for it.
