Palmstone Retreat, Sri Lanka

Last week we shared with you, our desire to visit Sri Lanka. Now it’s time to keep day dreaming about a tropical paradise.

The luxury boutique hotel consists of just six suites, its own stream and waterfall. Guests may choose to stay in the indulgent Araliya suites complete with private plunge pool and steam room, Nelum suites with river views or suites comprising of king-sized bed, living area overlooking the gardens or jacuzzi with private deck.

En-suite shower rooms and flat-screen tvs are standard in every suite. You can be sure to be surrounded by the tranquility of a tropical forest whilst you sink in to the luxury cotton sheets of your king size bed or dip in to your own private plunge pool.

 Whether it be a gentle hike around the private estate or rafting with family and friends you will create endless memories at Palmstone. Especially as, the property is perfectly located for climbing Sri Lanka’s famous mountain Adam’s Peak, exploring Belilena Cave, white water rafting, hiking, bird watching and abseiling.

In terms of food, guests can enjoy  both Sri Lankan and Western cuisines. Think  traditional coconut rotis served with relish to slow cooked lamb.

Guests can then chose to dine may the privacy of their suite or enjoy anywhere around the estate. Guests who choose to dine by the pool terrace may enjoy the tranquility of the sprawling estate and all of its natural beauty.
