Savage Garden’s Austrian Après Ski bar, Savage Schloss Review

Savage Garden has launched their winter pop up Austrian Après Ski bar, Savage Schloss and we were there opening night!

With excitement taking over as we walked into the ski bar Wednesday evening, Christmas trees in almost every corner, the tables decked out in red chequered tablecloths, the ski lift at the entrance, the vibe of a European ski lodge was definitely present. The interactive tradition German band, The Bierkeller Boys got everyone shaking their hips, participating in games and winning us over with their cheeky humour.

Between the stunning views over London, (including Gherkin, The Shard, Tower of London and Tower Bridge) steins flowing, the food lining our stomachs and music pumping, we found it quite difficult to leave. It’s safe to say we had a fantastic night in the Ski Lodge.

By day, you can enjoy a traditional skihütte atmosphere, indulge in a boozy hot chocolate and Raclette. As the evening arrives, get ready to sing and dance along with their oompah band, enjoy those steins and let your hair down.

If you are looking to shake up your usual pub hang out, get into the mood and really enjoy this winter, head on over to Savage garden and experience it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. The pop-up will be running throughout winter until March 2020.
