Searcys opens south of the river at Battersea Power Station

The bubbly is flowing as Searcys Champagne Bar as Battersea Power Station opens its doors. Bringing Searcys’ expertise in all things champagne to the exciting new neighbourhood south of the river, expect an extensive menu of bubbles and English sparkling wine, paired with British seafood and sharing platters.

Set within the 1930s Art Deco Turbine Hall A inside the iconic Grade II* listed Power Station, the new Searcys Champagne Bar offers an ideal space for meeting with friends, a break from shopping, after-work drinks or a romantic flute à deux.

With deep velvet blue seating, marble topped tables and polished brass detailing, enjoy a glass of bubbly from an extensive collection of Champagne by glass, bottle or magnum. From Champagne Grandes Marques, Demi Secs and Vintages to bottles from small growers and Searcys own collection of Cuvées, Champagne aficionados can indulge on an extensive list of bubbles from key houses, including Krug, Moet & Chandon, Laurent Perrier, Pol Roger, Drappier and Taittinger. There is also a monthly-changing Champagne Trio selection, alongside a concise list of interesting English sparkling wines, including a non-alcoholic pour from Wild Idol.

Searcys mixologists are also on hand with a curated list of classic Champagne cocktails, including a French 75 with Searcys own London dry gin and a Negroni Sbagliato topped with Searcys Selected Cuvée.

Pair your glass with a selection of seafood plates, including Colchester Rock & Native oysters with mignonette sauce and Searcys signature Smoked salmon with horseradish cream, alongside a range of bar bites and sharing platters of artisan cheeses, mezze and British charcuterie board of cured and smoked meats.

Linking the world’s most famous drink with art, the new Champagne Bar is home to three bespoke pieces of artwork by celebrated London based artist Kristjana S Williams, commissioned exclusively for the space by Searcys. Adorning the walls, the striking pieces blend Searcys’ 175-year history with a nod to the Victorian era and will be unveiled for the first time upon opening.

Located on Level 1 inside the Power Station near to the unique chimney lift experience, Lift 109, the Champagne Bar is set to host a range of masterclasses and experiences as part of Searcys series of ticketed events.

The bar is also available for group bookings, parties and private hire for up to 80 guests.
