Stamptown To Film Netflix Special During Netflix Is A Joke Festival

Stamptown – the anarchic comedy night hailed by Chortle as “the past, present and future of live entertainment rolled into one magnificently anarchic package” ★★★★★ – is heading to Netflix. Led by Zach Zucker in the guise of his unhinged alter ego Jack Tucker, the show will film its first Netflix special in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

The special will be recorded over two nights at The Montalbán Theatre on 8–9 May 2026, with performances at 7:00PM.

Stamptown is a raunchy, chaotic, full‑throttle late‑night variety show showcasing the sharpest alternative performers from around the world. In practice, audiences enter an entire world: the Stamptown Cinematic Universe. It’s a world built from recurring characters, sketches and improvised collaborations that exist only within Stamptown’s walls – material that can’t be replicated anywhere else.

With constantly shifting line-ups, the show has also become known for its surprise celebrity appearances. Past guests include Neil Patrick Harris, Richard Kind, David Cross, Karen Gillan, Richard Gadd, Mae Martin, Reggie Watts, Hannah Einbinder, Bridget Christie, Rosie Jones, Lolly Adefope, BriTANicK, Jamie Demetriou, Rachel Sennott, Natalie Palamides and Alex Edelman.

Born in underground rooms and late‑night basements, Stamptown has grown into a global cult phenomenon. The Telegraph described it as “less like a comedy night than a party; the kind of party you wake up from three days later, in another country, handcuffed to a lamppost” ★★★★. The show has since toured to Melbourne, London, New York and Los Angeles – and now, for the first time, audiences worldwide will be able to experience it on Netflix.

The Netflix special is slated for release later in 2026.
