Stella Artois and Wimbledon’s The Time Portal
Wednesday night saw me heading down to the press launch of Stella Artois and Wimbledon’s The Time Portal. An all-immersive theatrical experience created by Olivier nominated theatre group Les Enfants Terribles and Framestore. Surrounded by celebrities such as actor Dominic Cooper and Rugby players, Thom and Max Evans did not distract from how awesome this show is.
Being taken back to London’s Victorian era on a quest to find the very first Wimbledon Championship over a 40 minute experience was eye opening and a total laugh. I don’t want to spoil the experience for everyone but expect to see such characters as Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper. The sets, costumes and actors in this show are incredible. Right down to the props, the creators of this show have gone all out.
Only open for a limited time, you have until the 10th of July between 12:00pm to 9.40pm to see the show. Tickets are priced between 13.50 – £18 (including a £1 booking fee) for a 40 minute theatrical experience and two complimentary drinks. After the experience, guests are welcome to purchase additional drinks at the bar and watch the Wimbledon match in style.
