The Clink at HMP Brixton Unveils New Summer Menus celebrating Seasonal Creativity and Culinary Craftsmanship
The Clink Restaurant in HMP Brixton is excited to announce the launch of its Summer Menu, available now. From inspired À La Carte offerings to indulgent gourmet dishes and a refined Sunday Lunch experience, The Clink’s kitchen continues to champion seasonal ingredients and bold global flavours.
The Clink is a working restaurant with a powerful purpose. Run by The Clink Charity, it gives prisoners the chance to train in professional kitchens and front-of-house roles while serving their sentences. Through hands-on experience and recognised qualifications, they gain the skills and confidence needed to build a new future after release. So when guests dine at The Clink, they’re not just enjoying a great meal, but also supporting a great cause.
À La Carte Menu
The Clink’s new À La Carte menu reflects the vibrancy and freshness of the season. Starters include, Charred squid served with watercress, smoked almond romesco, and persillade, Gunpowder courgettes accompanied by labneh, tamarind, and mint, and a Mediterranean-inspired pan con tomato finished with lardo, anchovy, and basil. Mains feature bold, imaginative combinations such as BBQ jerk monkfish paired with roasted corn, Salt cod fritter, and Celeriac remoulade. Guests can also enjoy grilled Napa cabbage with smoked aubergine, ajo blanco, and saffron, or a lighter option of Tagliatelle tossed with broad beans, chilli, datterini tomato, and parmesan.

Gourmet Menu
The Gourmet Menu offers a carefully curated tasting experience that highlights some of the kitchen’s most accomplished dishes. To start, guests can savour Gunpowder courgettes with labneh, tamarind, and mint, or enjoy the rich flavours of Heritage tomatoes served with kombu emulsion, sourdough, and kalamata olives. Main course highlights include Chargrilled pork chop with smacked cucumber, goma noodles, and togarashi, Seared bavette accompanied by espelette hollandaise, grilled baby gem, and pecorino, and BBQ jerk monkfish, also featured on the À La Carte, which continues to shine with its accompanying Roasted corn, Salt cod fritter, and Celeriac remoulade.
Sunday Lunch Menu
The Sunday Lunch Menu offers an elegant twist on traditional favourites, perfect for a relaxed and memorable weekend meal. Highlights include a perfectly roasted Striploin of beef served with yorkshire pudding and horseradish, Lemon and thyme roasted chicken with a classic bread sauce, and aromatic Fennel and sage porchetta paired with apple sauce. Each dish is accompanied by seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings, prepared with the same attention to detail and passion that defines The Clink’s culinary ethos.
