Susan Boyle lands a job as a lighthouse keeper

Susan Boyle, 52,  has landed a job as a lighthouse keeper just weeks after seeking a job in a Ladbrokes bookies.

The Britain’s Got Talent runner-up will be ensuring boats don’t crash into cliffs in her new role.

However this isn’t in her real life though – it’s part of a new role Boyle is to play in a new TV drama.

She will play a singing lighthouse keeper in the TV series, provisionally titled Diva.
