    Wine and the polls with the New Statesman

    Thursday the 8th of June 2017 election was a surprising and confusing affair, resulting in a hung parliament and several unexpected changes of MPs. We spent the evening with our friends at the New Statesman magazine who kindly invited us along to their party at the OXO tower to watch the results come in. The wine was excellent and the mood was upbeat, and the OXO Tower is a firm favourite of ours, for its views across the Thames.
