Tequila Mockingbird Launch Review
Thursday 12th September, award-winning cocktail bar Tequila Mockingbird launched on Brixton’s Atlantic Road.
Those that know the bars are known for their creative twists on cocktail classics, Tequila Mockingbird will be serving-up their much loved menu of Martinis, Margaritas and Mojitos, alongside brand new concoctions, exclusive to the Brixton bar.
For example the ‘Hoptail’ menu with neighbours Brixton Brewery and a David Bowie-inspired menu, the proceeds of which will go towards music equipment for local Brixton schools. We didn’t get to try these concoctions but did sample many of the other delicious cocktails available. I loved the gin based ones, while my friend was tempted by the delicious rum based cocktails.
Food available at Tequila Mockingbird is from Onin.London favourites Dip & Flip. If you haven’t tried these burgers dipped in gravy… you’re missing out.
During September, you get 2-4-1 cocktails as part of daily from 5pm-9pm. Tequila Mockingbird Brixton will also be open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays with a revolving line-up of guest DJs playing all the biggest tunes.
