We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The restaurant offers a menu packed with delicious options that are perfect for any palate. To start, I had the halloumi fries and garlic prawns—both dishes were bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. For the main course, I opted for a medium-rare steak with chips and peppercorn sauce—the steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the sauce complemented it beautifully. My guest enjoyed the terrine to start, which was equally delightful and tasted locally sourced.

To finish off our meal, we enjoyed two indulgent desserts: a banoffee pie that was decadently rich and a cheese board that offered a delightful array of flavors. The hotel’s cocktail menu is also worth mentioning, as they served up some epic cocktails—I personally recommend the Cosmopolitan and Old Fashioned, both expertly crafted and absolutely delicious. There’s also a secluded bar area with open roaring fires which is a cosy and nice touch.
