June marks the month of food in London, which is probably music to the ears of all foodies dotted around the capital. Westfield is doing their duty and to help get the festivities in flow by dotting three food-focussed events throughout the month.
Kicking off on the 1st of June is a Food Truck Festival at Westfield London in White City – giving you a chance to sample food from around the world, this 4 day food fest has free entry and is sure to have something that will tickle your tastebuds. You’ll get the chance to try dishes from some of London’s best food trucks and get involved with foodie activities, such as masterclasses and cocktail making, in Westfield’s restaurants and bars.
Following on from this is Westfield’s own open air cinema – located within the night markets of Kensington Palace Gardens between the 7th and 18th of June. What better way than to spend the evening under the stars eating great food and watching a classic hit? Entertainment in Kensington Palace Gardens will begin each day from 17.00 with live acoustic performances before the PM screenings. At weekends there will be Disney Studio and Disney-Pixar matinees.
Tickets for the night market can be bought here, with tickets for the screening costing an extra £4/£2 (adults/children). Finally, if you’re based in the East and feeling a little left out – not to worry. Westfield’s Food Trust Festival will be making its way to Westfield East in Stratford from the 21st – 25th of the month.
