XI Home Dumplings Review

There is something really warming and homely about going out for dumplings and XI Home Dumplings Bay in Spitalfields E1 definitely brought the cosy but tasty vibes.

We had been craving dumplings and noodles and the restaurant didn’t disappoint. We started with a an iced matcha and iced lychee black tea, both of which were very refreshing.

And then onto the dumplings….

We were spoilt for choice, as the menu offers lots of different meat, fish and vegetable options. We ordered a selection between us, including the Jade Lobster dumplings, Chicken and Sweetcorn, Lamb and Cumin, Prawn Chives and Spring Onion, King Prawn and Prawn Courgette and Egg. My friend also tried the Soup Dumpling, where all the liquid was sipped up through a straw before tucking into the pillowy pork dumpling.

I love noodles, so had to try the Vegan Soup Noodles and Dan Dan Noodles. Both were packed with flavour, but we were both so full from the dumplings, the restaurant team kindly packed these up into a cute takeaway bag for us.

If ever you find yourself near Spitalfields with a dumpling and/or noodle craving like ours that day, I would definitely recommend XI Home Dumplings Bay!
