YOTEL Review

Last year we visited, YOTEL London City located in Clerkenwell, London’s creative quarter and the centre of the capital’s design scene. It is one of the brand’s 22 hotels and is actually conveniently located close to Soho, Covent Garden, St Paul’s and the Barbican.

While we were there to review the anti-Halloween package, there was a bit of a mix up. The hotel did attempt to fix this and gifted us a bottle of Prosecco and some skin care products to make up for it. Their selection of Urban Jungle Skin Care is fabulous and has become part of my daily routine at home now.

The rooms themselves are minimalist but they’re clean and tidy which is what you really want in a hotel. Also the view was pretty spectacular so this was lovely.

We had dinner at the Komyuniti, a stylish all-day restaurant and bar serving up street food inspired bar snacks and larger plates from bao buns to flatbreads. Food for dinner was delicious as we really enjoyed the Asian fusion foods on offer. The cocktails were also pretty damn decent.

After a decent nights sleep, we went down to breakfast. This unfortunately was a little bit disappointing and is an area of improvement for the hotel.

Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay at YOTEL and found it to be a good value for money. Rooms start at £137 per night and makes the perfect excuse for a weekend staycation. Especially as Valentine’s Day is coming up. So why not treat a loved one to an overnight getaway.
