We all know how hard January can be, it’s cold, we’re pretty broke from Christmas and we may have just broken every New Years resolution again… and thats only a few days into January! We will all wake up to the most depressing day of the year on the 16th, known as Blue Monday. Thankfully it’s not all bad news this time round! On the 16th January, Young’s Pubs, Finch’s in Finsbury Square, Moorgate will be transformed into Young’s House of Happiness.

What will that entail I hear you scream? on arrival, guests will have coats and bags whisked away by happiness hosts, before being handed a kit containing an eye mask and slippers to leave all traces of the outside world at the doors of the pub. Sound good so far?

The House of Happiness escapism pods are designed to disconnect the mind, body and soul from the boundaries of everyday life, there will be complimentary massages, pop-up chatter corners, letter writing stations, thought-provoking wellbeing talks and ‘happiness bursts’ hosted by Laughology. In the special Young’s bookshop, you can snuggle with a cosy blanket and listen to talks by happiness, mindfulness and lifestyle coaches.
