Agatha Christie’s ‘The Seven Dials Mystery’ Turns 90

Covent Garden’s Seven Dials are celebrating a big event this month, as Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials Mystery turns 90 years old on 24th January. To mark the occasion, the crossroads are launching special events, including a secret book trail, with 90 books hidden around the streets and free for their finders to keep. Shops and restaurants will be joining in on the fun with special discounts and events.

Tredwells  will offer a special tribute menu to Agatha Christie from 24th January, and you can enjoy 50% off your first round of drinks at The Escapologist when quoting ‘Agatha Christie’.

Fancy some inspiration? Then make sure you visit CREOATE to listen to an exclusive female panel of influential women who are creating a niche for themselves through topical writing, in celebration of the inspirational author. The conversation will host social media influencers Kristen and Melissa, The Adelaidians, and Caroline, the founder of 91 Magazine – an online first magazine for creative living. Moderated by Ashley, the founder of CREOATE – a retail platform for female led brands to launch global businesses – the talk will bring out unique experiences, challenges and what it takes to produce content from very different perspectives. (‘Celebrating Women Writers – A Discussion on Modern Journalism’ – CREOATE store, 24th January at 6:30pm for £10 only).

Starting now, a specially commissioned, Christie-themed piece of art by Iona Rowland is showcased on a billboard on Shorts Gardens for all visitors to admire, so the party’s already started!
