Backyard Cinema have created the ultimate indoor, winter cinema. Set in the heart of Victoria Park the Backyard Cinema team, known for their immersive and theatrical screenings, have built their very own indoor, enchanted forest, named the Winter Night Garden. To access the cinema itself customers must venture through a magical wardrobe, found in the depths of the cosy Woodland Bar, down a secret tunnel of trees.

Once inside customers can enjoy their favourite Christmas movie (there’s over 40 to choose from!) in the secluded depths of a magical (indoor) woodland. Snuggle up under a blanket with a warm glass of mulled wine and a mince pie and settle in for a magical and enchanted Christmas treat.

To help you chose, films have been split into categories which include Proper Christmas films, Family Films, Cult Christmas films and even Non-Christmas movies for the scrooges out there. .

Now famous for their partnerships with independent and well-loved brands, Backyard Cinema ensures food and drink is as important as the screening. With official drinks partners Meantime Brewery, who will be serving their famous catalogue of craft beers directly from their enormous mobile beer tanker, you know the beer will be good. Meat champions from the Highlands of Scotland, The Wild Game Co. join the festive party as the official food partner to serve up their award winning venison & beef burgers and introduce their new winter hotpot, served with truffle mash. Freixenet will be on hand to offer a range of Cava and wine with some traditional soft drinks provided by Fentimans.

Deep in the forest there is a secret place, a place where magic has been left untouched for hundreds of years. A place where trees and buildings become one, where unseen creatures roam and glow worms flicker like stars. If you are lucky enough to find the secluded entrance and make your way to the clearing in one piece, then you might be allowed to stay and watch a movie with the woodland locals. Be warned though, a place this cosy and inviting can often see time fly and be hard to leave, especially on cold winter nights.
