Best place to be Single… Islington

Young Man Hiding Red Roses Behind His Back

I read a article that Islington is the best place to be single in as 60 per cent of its population has never married.

The Office of National Statistics (ONS) carried out this research and found out that the hardest place to find love is East Dorset. Between 2001 and 2011 the ONS found that the singletons rose in Islington by 5% and this rise is attributed to the relatively young age of its inhabitants.

The five local authorities with the lowest proportion of married people are all in London: Islington (59.9%), Lambeth (58.4%), Hackney (57.5%), Hammersmith and Fulham (55.9%) and Tower Hamlets (55.3%)

And the five local authorities with the lowest proportion of singletons are: East Dorset (21.0%), East Devon (23.7%), North Kesteven (23.7%), Christchurch South (24.0%) and Northamptonshire (24.2%).

So if in the search for love you better make sure you can afford to live in these places and get there quickly before things change, now the secrets out!
