Here at ONIN London we love a Bottomless Brunch, so getting to spend the day with good food and prosecco with three friends and fellow ONIN London reporters was utter perfection. The Sanctum Soho Hotel’s restaurant Remix was the perfect location for this and was absolutely lovely. It has a very chilled atmosphere and with the gorgeous pictures of skulls, Jimi Hendrix and other celebrities gracing the walls, you feel like you’re one of the hip crowd. It’s strange to think this boutique bar, restaurant and hotel is just a stone throw away from Regent Street. It truly is an undiscovered wonder in the heart of busy London.

IMG_3325For just £35, guests can order two courses and have unlimited prosecco for 1.5 hours. We certainly took advantage of the free-flowing prosecco, so we were grateful our lovely wait staff were also just as generous with refilling our water glasses.

The two courses consist of one selection from the small pots menu and one selection from the plates menu. Breakfast plate choices are typical of brunch menu options but the Pots menu is where Remix really shines.

IMG_3311The Ham, Egg and peas (pea and spinach puree, pulled ham hock, parsnip string fries and confit egg yolk), Carrot and coriander (Carrot pulse, pumpkin seed and ginger granola, spinach and coriander puree) and Smoked salmon and avocado (lemon and pepper yoghurt, maple cured salmon, avocado puree and caviar) were our choices for the small pots. We all loved these delightful little pots which were beautifully presented with editable flowers and a Dry Ice Iced Tea. Each pot were full of flavour and were unique in texture and taste.

IMG_3322For our mains, we couldn’t go past the Eggs Benedict (English muffin, ham and béarnaise sauce and the Protein pancakes (spinach, chorizo, friend egg and red pepper sauce). I’m a massive Eggs Benedict fan and it’s 9 times out of 10 my go to brunch choice. Remix did not disappoint with their take on it. It was simply superb and ticked all the right boxes in taste, smell and presentation. The Protein Pancakes did look divine and I definitely had food envy while watching my friends devour them.

IMG_3320During our meal, we didn’t feel rushed and wait staff were quick to refill our glasses as soon as they noticed they were emptying. Our waiter also happily offered to take photos of us enjoying our meal because if you don’t take a photo of you and your friends having brunch to put on Facebook… did it really happen? It was such a great day and if it wasn’t for the lovely weather outside, we would have been happy spending the rest of our afternoon in the bar.
