Brewdog Clerkenwell

An English man and an Aussie walk in to bar. Sounds like a lame joke but this is fast becoming my life in London. Thursday’s night outing saw me and a mate get to attend the launch party of Brewdog’s latest bar. Brewdog is a crowd funded craft beer bar.

As I’m not a big beer drinker, I let the Englishman do the most of the beer drinking tonight and stuck to a ‘Shandy’ and ‘cider’. Despite not being a lover of beer, I was impressed by the extensive number of beers available. The majority which are brewed by Brewdog. The list of speciality guest beers and ciders was also impressive. Plus there’s always your favourite spirits, you’d expect to find in any bar.

Brewdog has a lovely atmosphere and is a place that I can see fast becoming a hip spot in Farringdon to hang out in after work. Staff are friendly and were knowledgable in all things beer related.

Food is available for purchase and has a very hipster vibe to it. Pickled vegetables, smoked beets and big doughy pretzels were tasted and enjoyed.

Head down to Brewdog when you’re in the mood for a beer in a relaxed and cool environment. You won’t regret it.
