Charles Tyrwhitt Celebrates Bumper Rugby Year
with England Rugby Partnership for Six Nations and World Cup

Good news for rugby fans, 2023 brings a flurry of rugby gameplay; along with the annual Guinness Six Nations Tournament comes the Rugby World Cup in all its long-awaited glory.

Premium menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt has entered its fourth sponsorship year as official formalwear partner to the England national rugby team, bringing with it another exclusive England Rugby collection and the return of The Tyrwhitt Arms its sell-out consumer activation.


This season Charles Tyrwhitt has introduced eight new pieces to its already iconic England Rugby range. A blue Oxford shirt, pink Oxford Bengal stripe shirt, lilac Merino jumper, navy zip-through cardigan, lilac and blue striped pique polos as well as pink and blue socks all feature England Rugby embroidery and marry the hard-wearing and high-performance qualities that epitomise England Rugby with all the classic tailoring details you’d expect from Charles Tyrwhitt.

A huge part of the brand’s England Rugby partnership is its latest work with England Rugby and Harlequins fly-half Marcus Smith. Known for his creativity and strong work ethic, Charles Tyrwhitt’s newest ambassador, Smith is generating the kind of buzz that surrounds hugely talented players destined to go down in history. He channels the brand’s effortlessly sharp aesthetic and embodies not only the future of England Rugby, but the future of the Tyrwhitt man.

For the 2023 Guinness Six Nations Championship tournament, in its 24th year, Charles Tyrwhitt is reopening the doors to The Tyrwhitt Arms pub in Covent Garden, following a hugely successful flagship launch for the Autumn Internationals.
Screening both away games, England vs Wales on 25th February and England vs Ireland on 18th March, Charles Tyrwhitt will invite supporters to fully immerse themselves in the tournament with the return of the cosy pop-up, offering a viewing experience second to only Twickenham.

Complete with a series of events including a private live screening of the match, hosted by former England rugby player Andy Goode with a seat to boot, complimentary food & drink, a half time discussion and a pre-match pub quiz with prizes worth up to £500, the Tyrwhitt Arms will serve as the ultimate live hub for both die-hard and casual rugby fans.
With the World Cup taking place in France, the setting that last saw England bring home the trophy, rugby’s centrepiece event is particularly significant for Charles Tyrwhitt; its current lead rugby ambassador, Matt Dawson, made the pass that led to Jonny Wilkinson’s triumphant field goal and its latest ambassador, Marcus Smith, is set to take centre stage at this year’s tournament.
