Cherry Blossom, Pandan and Feel-good Sips Have Landed At Black Sheep Coffee
Black Sheep Coffee is leaning fully into spring this year, rolling out a limited‑edition menu built around cherry blossoms and pandan. Launched on Tuesday 8 April, the line-up’s focus is on gentle, mood‑boosting ingredients with bold, modern twists.
The cherry blossom range is all about delicate sweetness and easy-drinking freshness. Drinks include:
- Cherry Blossom Matcha Latte — Ceremonial-grade matcha blended with cherry blossom syrup, cherry purée and oat milk. Smooth, floral and quietly indulgent.
- Iced Cherry Blossom Matcha Latte — The same floral matcha profile, served chilled.
- Cherry Blossom Lemonade — Still lemonade lifted with cherry blossom syrup and purée for a crisp, floral refreshing drink. It was light and refreshing but a little sweet for our taste.
- Cherry Blossom Matcha Lemonade — A layered mix of still lemonade, matcha and cherry blossom syrup. Vibrant, slightly tart and softly floral.
We tried the iced Cherry Blossom Matcha, and the pink‑and‑green layers are undeniably cute. I normally love sweet things, but both the lemonade and the iced matcha tipped just a little too sweet for our tastes. That said, they were genuinely refreshing—light, bright and very easy to drink.

Pandan is a popular South-East Asian flavour bringing nutty and vanilla notes with a hint of toasted coconut. It’s dessert energy without the sugar overload, the pandan range includes:
- Pandan Matcha Latte — described as a “cake in a cup” moment, it combines matcha, pandan syrup and whole milk bringing sweetness, nuttiness and an aromatic finish.
- Iced Pandan Matcha Latte — the sabe, served chilled for a refreshing take on a dessert-like classic.
- Iced Pandan Lemonade — Still lemonade with pandan syrup for a sweet, caramel twist.
- Iced Pandan Matcha Lemonade — Citrus brightness meets pandan’s soft sweetness, with matcha adding depth
I hadn’t tried pandan before, so I was genuinely curious to see how it would land. It turned out to be a distinctive flavour combination—there were gentle hints of coconut, but nothing overpowering. I wouldn’t quite call it “cake in a cup,” though the vanilla and nutty notes came through nicely. Overall, it’s an interesting option for anyone curious about trying something a little different. I’d happily order this again.
There’s also a Cherry Blossom & Vanilla Red Bull Infusion—Red Bull Spring Edition infused with cherry blossom and vanilla syrup, served over ice. A lightly floral drink with an energetic lift.
Black Sheep Coffee continues to push beyond the standard coffee‑shop playbook. This spring menu feels designed for curiosity—familiar enough to be approachable, but inventive enough to make you want to try something new.
