979503

Dinner parties are being revamped this season with a new dining trend – chocolate and wine. Hosts are experimenting with the rich combination of dark chocolate and quality wines, surprising and delighting their guests with this delicious pairing course.

To give chocolate lovers the chance to learn everything there is to know about this new dining trend – and to help throw the perfect dinner party – TV’s favourite wine expert and broadcaster, Olly Smith, and Lindt Master Chocolatier, Stefan Bruderer, are holding a Lindt Excellence Masterclass in the Teatro Room at London’s exclusive Hospital Club on Thursday 17th November 2016 from 4pm – 5pm.

In the presence of the celebrated experts, guests will learn about the quality and craftsmanship that goes into making Lindt Excellencechocolate, as well as the perfect wine accompaniments for each variant, engaging all five senses for this unique dining experience.

After receiving Olly’s and Stefan’s tips and tricks – and after participating in sampling – guests will receive Lindt Excellence Masterclass certification in dark chocolate tasting, as well as full-size samples of the most popular bars in the Lindt Excellence range.

Wine expert Olly Smith says: “We’ve seen a change in how consumers are hosting dinner parties. While keeping with traditions, they’re playing around with dishes in an experimental and stylish way, and what better way to do it than with high-quality chocolate?

While chocolate is of course sweet, paired with the right wine, it’s a match made in heaven and there are combinations to suit all palates, even those with a savoury tooth. The combination of wine and chocolate is a wonderful tasting experience in and of itself and one bound to dazzle guests.”

Stefan Bruderer, Master Chocolatier at Lindt adds: “Sophisticated and mature, dark chocolate is like a fine red wine. It’s about quality and sophistication and it’s the perfect finishing touch to a dinner party.

As such, we’re delighted to offer the opportunity to have a real understanding of the subtle nuances in high- quality chocolate. We want chocolate lovers and those with an appreciation of the finer things to experience the true quality of one of life’s little luxuries.”

For a chance to claim one of the 16 coveted places on the Lindt Excellence Masterclass, entrants should email [email protected] with their name and a one sentence answer on why they should be chosen to participate.

The ballot will be closed by Monday 14th November at 23:59 2016 with winners notified on Tuesday the 15th November 2016.
