Chop-Chop London review

Chop-Chop London, recently opened their latest salon at Wembley Park, it’s now their biggest and most sustainable salon. So of course I headed on over and got myself booked in for a hair cut.

If you turn up with washed hair, you can get a dry hair cut for just £20! Crazy huh? Yup we have found a hair salon in London that offers an affordable option! You do have the option for a wash, cut and blow-dry and yes the price does increase, but you get more for your buck. The £20 option are for those that want a low cost option with little time on their hands. Chop-Chop London, offers to cut your hair within 20mins, so if you only have 30 minutes spare in your lunch break to sort your locks out, look no further, Chop-Chop London have you covered.

I was greeted by the lovely Bina, the salon manager who is also a hair stylist, she was very chatty and put me at ease immediately. We spoke about my hair desires, which was pretty simple, it was just a trim to get rid of my split ends. She did a great job with the cut and added some nice layers at the end. My hair was sleek, conditioned and looked a lot healthier than when I first walked in, happy days!

The great thing about the salon, was that they have incorporated sustainable materials in their design, they have low energy lighting and the worktops are made of recycled materials. It has quite an industrial look to it, which of course is all the rage. By offering the dry cut option to their customers, not only are they saving their customers money, they are also reducing water consumption.

The haircare products Chop-Chop London uses is the botanical brand Phyto, which is music to my ears, I only use plant based hair-care at home and prefer when salons do the same. The only two things I did pick up on was they had no magazines to flick through and they didn’t have a herbal tea selection to choose from, thankfully Bina was such great company and we chatted throughout my hair cut.
