City Cruises launches Gin Cocktail Masterclass

City Cruises launches Gin Cocktail Masterclass
17th May, 18.30 – 21.30

Gin on a boat, how terribly British. This May, City Cruises is giving Londoners the chance to engage in two of our favourite national past times, inviting fellow gin lovers to enjoy an evening of fun and cocktail creating on the R.S. Hispaniola. On this well known floating restaurant moored directly opposite the London Eye, boasting magnificent views of the River Thames. In collaboration with British distillery HMS Spirits Company and their popular Mary Rose Gin, the night will play host to a gin masterclass and cocktail making lessons, whilst attendees are talked through the history of gin, alongside complimentary nibbles.

Made with the highest quality organic botanicals from across the globe, Mary Rose Gin was awarded the Silver Medal in the London Spirits Competition 2018. In the interactive three-hour masterclass, the artisan distiller will explain the heritage of this iconic tipple, before guests are given the chance to make their own perfect ‘Dirty Martini’, with guidance from a special mixologist. They’ll then move on to make a cleverly named ‘Something about Mary’, mixing up gin, Prosecco and a drop of elderflower and lemon.

Throughout the evening, participants will enjoy up to six measures of gin. If that hefty dose of gin isn’t enough, there will be a fully stocked bar available throughout the night to keep you going, offering the truly perfect gin filled night.

Tickets are £49.50 per person and include a complimentary HMS branded glass.
