Earth Week celebrations at The London Edition Hotel

THE LONDON EDITION X THE EARTH ISSUE MAGAZINE EARTH WEEK FESTIVAL
15TH – 22ND APRIL 2019

In celebration of the momentous Earth Day 2019, The London EDITION has teamed up with The Earth Issue Magazine to program a week of activities and events, launching today with the unveiling of a site-specific installation by celebrated Indian artist Svabhu Kohli.

The week will continue with an impressive rota of panel discussions, workshops and wellness events all centred around the idea of environment and sustainability. In the lead up to the actual Earth Day on 22nd April, Kohli’s stylised installation will also remain around the glass cube entrance to the hotel’s Lobby Bar for the next week, a display of flora and fauna offering a dreamy glimpse into the artist’s love of nature and imaginative approach to art. The impressive piece of artwork is formed using a sustainable alternative to vinyl made from polypropylene film, which is PVC free and can be fully recycled.

If you want to do your little bit to help contribute the sustainability cause, then swing by the hotel bar to try their special Earth Week Cocktail, with £2 from each drink sold donated to Project 0, the hotel’s ocean conservation partner.
