Eat like an Italian and try ASK Italian’s purple pesto Autumn menu

British casual dining restaurant ASK Italian’s new autumn menu is all about comfort food and looks as amazing as it tastes. Tempted? The leaves are turning with purple basil, planted in Verona especially for Ask Italian’s new autumn menu, which brings colour to their classics in the form of dollops of purple basil pesto.

Autumn florals are big this season with edible flowers adorning Ask Italian’s ‘Purple Basil Pesto Genovese’ fresh pasta, ‘Yoghurt Panna Cotta’ and ‘Peach V&T’ cocktail. They’ve got warming starters such as the vegetarian ‘Pumpkin Arancini’ crispy risotto and pumpkin balls served with a spicy tomato dip. Their folded ‘Garlic Bread Speciale’, cheesy garlic bread, is dressed with purple basil pesto or topped with tangy balsamic onions.

If you fancy a change from pasta or pizza why not try the Pollo Milanese – a Milan-inspired seasoned and roasted chicken main. However, if you agree with Federico Fellini that “life is a combination of magic and pasta” then you’ll love their beautiful Purple Basil Pesto Genovese, which deserves another mention because it’s just so pretty in pesto!

Eat like an Italian and use mealtimes as a celebration of great food and enjoy spending time with your favourite people. Let’s face it eating alone is lonely.
