ESQ Review

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the launch of ESQ at 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel and trying the new small plates and cocktails. It was an extravagant affair full of singing waiters, Gastronomy delights, cocktails and champagne.

100 Queen’s Gate Hotel’s ESQ bar has been designed as a discreet drinking den, inspired by Victorian Parlor bars. Guests can enjoy crafted cocktails and delightful infused spirits while relaxing in the pretty impressive venue which is absolutely lovely. We throughly enjoyed sipping on champagne and eating the Beef Sliders, Arancini and other dishes that we got to sample on the evening.

The highlight of the evening was the introduction of the Singing Waiters who had the crowd dancing and singing along. While this isn’t a usual offering, it was a taste at how far ESQ will go to ensure guests have a good time.

What’s exciting is that this autumn, the ESQ bar will be introducing Classic Gin Cocktail Masterclass sessions that can be booked for groups of up to six people. Priced at £65 per person, the bar’s friendly mixologists will educate groups on the techniques of cocktail preparation, as well as the subtleties and sensations of the premium gins used across the bar’s eclectic menu. Sounds like this Gin Queen’s idea of heaven!

If you’re looking forward to somewhere different to drink, make sure you head on down to the ESQ Bar. It’s a really intimate place despite its large size and would be a perfect date night location.
