Floozie Cookies Launch ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ Summer Cookie Range
Travelling is one of my great joys — the food, the adventure, the culture, the friendships, all the little discoveries along the way. Trying local dishes is always a highlight, so with over a week since I last stepped on a plane, Floozie Cookies’ new Around the World in 80 Days range felt like the perfect way to scratch the itch. Their summer collection promises a global tasting tour in cookie form, and I was more than ready to check in.
Covent Garden’s cult stuffed‑cookie brand is going global this summer with 18 new cookie flavours, four summer drinks, and two limited‑edition snack packs, all inspired by founder Kimberley Lin’s real-life travels. Kimberley — formerly Head Pastry Chef at Claridge’s — left British Columbia in 2005 on a two‑year working holiday visa and ended up eating, wandering, and collecting flavour memories from all over the world. These cookies are her “little edible postcards,” and honestly, that’s exactly how they taste.
What I love is that each cookie has a proper origin story — not just a flavour pairing for the sake of it.
- Miso Dulce Marshmallow — born from Kimberley feeling homesick in Japan, warming herself on winter commutes with vending‑machine milk.
- Brown Butter & Guava Jam — inspired by Mozambique’s starry nights, clear waves, and buttery cookies.
- Flødeboller Cookie — a nod to a chocolate‑covered marshmallow from a corner bakery in Copenhagen.

We were given nine cookies to taste blind and guess the country. With an international friendship circle spanning Canada, Italy and France — plus the fact I’ve travelled to five of the featured countries myself — I was feeling quietly confident about my chances of winning the prize. It was a fun challenge, though definitely trickier than expected, because the flavours are based on Kimberley’s personal travel memories rather than iconic national desserts.
- Italy —This one completely fooled me at first glance. It looked like an American‑style marshmallow cookie, but it turned out to be a dark chocolate sandwich biscuit with whipped espresso ganache and a ribbon of caramel. It’s designed to be inspired by tiramisu, and it absolutely delivers on that brief — easily one of my favourites of the entire tasting.
- Costa Rica —Having visited Costa Rica this year, I was excited to try this one. It leans into classic Costa Rican flavours with banana brownie batter, coconut and cacao nibs. They captured the profile well, but as someone who doesn’t love banana or coconut, this was never going to be my winner.
- Japan — Miso, brown butter and dulcey chocolate with a fluffy marshmallow centre that made it one of the more memorable cookies in the lineup.
- Saudi Arabia – this one leans into the nutty (pistachio) aromatic flavours you’d expect from the region
- Mozambique — The guava jam is the clear standout here — fruity and slightly tangy.
- India — The chai brings warmth, the sour cherry adds a sharp little lift, and the chocolate oats give it a hearty, comforting base.
- Poland — with buttered rye, berry and yoghurt it’s different from the richer, more indulgent flavours in the lineup.
- France — hazelnut, milk chocolate and cherry
- Canada — maple blueberry pancake, which tastes exactly like it sounds.

They’re generously sized—big enough to share, though realistically you’ll only want to share so you can justify trying more flavours. Across the board, the cookies were soft, satisfyingly gooey and unapologetically indulgent.
