The Grift is coming to London’s Bethnal Green

The Grift is a new immersive experience with a twist is part theatre and part game. Overall it’s set to be a night to remember at London’s iconic Town Hall Hotel in 2018. The site-specific experience will première on Tuesday 23rd January, in the historic Town Hall Hotel in London’s Bethnal Green.

Writer-director Tom Salamon said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to the ‘seen-it- all’ sophisticated audiences of London, they’re up for anything and love to get involved and play along and I think we’re giving them something entirely unique that they haven’t experienced before.”

50 people per show and participants will be dropped right in the middle of an adventure where they will be trained in the art of the con. Be prepared to meet crafty and charming  characters, solve clues, become the ultimate grifter in a series of mastercallses and be trained to pull off one final swindle – to take down a renowned criminal mastermind. We don’t want to give too much away but during the evening you’ll learn scams such as: The Pig In The Poke, The Round-The Corner and The Money Swap.

The Grift-goers are invited to dine at The Corner Room. Expect delicious dishes including Vacherin fondue, grilled cabbages & trompettes, slow cooked venison shoulder, Delica pumpkin & nuts and for a sweet treat warm chocolate mousse with hazelnut ice cream. Yum – Count us in.

Available dates are Tuesday 23 January – Sunday 25 March 2018. Tuesday – Friday at 8pm Saturday at 2pm, 5pm, 8pm Sunday at 2pm, 5pm.

Prices: All ticket prices includes a free cocktail during the show.

Ticket prices range from £32 to £48 with meal deals ranging from £54 to £70 depending on dates and times.
