What has now become known as one of London’s most imaginative rooftop destinations, Tobacco Dock’s Skylight have an announced their new autumn season launch, in the form of HarvestFest. Celebrating autumn’s russet tones and mellow fruitfulness, HarvestFest will help Londoners transition into the colder months with a whole host of seasonal additions and events. Think apple ciders and warming spiced cocktails, to the backdrop of snuggly blankets and heaters and the obligatory Skylight lawn games.

The HarvestFest drinks offering is set to be a hit, with cocktails like Spiced Apple Crumble (Bacardi Oakheart, salted caramel syrup, spiced apple juice, lemon juice, cinnamon and apple garnish) and the Cherry Spritz (Cherry Herring, 30 et 40 apple liqueur, prosecco, soda and maraschino cherry) on offer, as well as an extensive range of world beer and cider. Skylight is extending its range for the cooler months and serving brands such as Blue Moon, Wolf Rock Red IPA, Staropramen, Off Shore and Rekorderlig. The bars will also feature Aspal Cyder on tap, the full range of Bacardi spirts and Laurent Perrier champagne by the glass and bottle.

There will of course be the same awesome street food offering, available on the lower level, with the exact brands not yet announced but sure to be delicious. The enclosed bar on the lower level will also host booths and seating areas, and a DJ booth. Heated pergolas are situated on the upper levels, which overlook the city skyline and the games, making them the perfect spot to grab a blanket, a bottle of red, and admire the lights of London.

Skylight fans will be excited to hear that the team are revamping their lawn game offering to fit in with the colder months. Guests can test their throwing skills with a game of Horseshoes by taking it in turns to hurl heavy horseshoes towards a stake in the ground. If the thought of having to put down your drink to play is enough to turn you off, then Pumpkin Draughts might be the one for you, the perfect game to enjoy with a cocktail in hand. Traditional counters will be replaced by colourful gourds and played across a giant black and orange checkerboard. And of course, there is the venues famous rooftop ice rink complete with unrivalled views of the city. A must for any Christmas party.
