Head to Seven Dials for loads of Easter fun

Have you got the family in town for Easter weekend? If you’re worried about how to keep them all entertained, the answer could lie in the famous seven interconnecting streets of Covent Garden, the Seven Dials. There’s plenty going on there, so no child or adult is in danger of getting bored. For the main event, spend a magical evening catching Roald Dahl’s Matilda on stage at The Cambridge Theatre.

If the family are feeling ravenous before the show, you may want to head over to Monmouth Kitchen for an indulgent and inventive afternoon tea, a twist on the old classic. For the children, there’s an Easter special going on there from 5th to 23rd April: the Dolco Nino, which includes a handcrafted chocolate nest with mini chocolate eggs. But because it’s Easter and there’s no such thing as too much chocolate, you may want to add an immersive chocolate experience to the schedule… Why not sign everyone up for the School of Chocolat at Hotel Chocolat’s boutique? You’ll learn all about how chocolate is made, plus kids get to decorate their own Easter egg with the help of master chocolatiers. Yes, please!
