Inamo Review

With technology taking over our lives, Inamo has decided to utilise this to create a unique dining experience. Large projectors hang above tables, allowing guests to have full control over their order and table top ambience. They can even witness the chefs cooking their meal in the kitchen or play games with their dining partners. It was pretty fun playing around with this, though I do wish there was the option of human contact as well for those less technologically advanced. The menu is certainly extensive and it was extremely difficult to choose what we wanted to it. It all seriously looks so good, so this is where it would have been handy to have staff help recommend what dishes to enjoy. (I’m sure they would have if we’d asked – as staff were ensuring all diners were in need of assistance while they were ordering their meals).

We loved sharing the dishes and some of our favourites included the Wasabi Prawns and the Scallop Kataifi (4 succulent scallops wrapped in shredded kataifi dough, lightly fried and served with a spicy and creamy kenko mayo). These scallops were especially lovely wrapped in the unusual textured shredded kataifi dough.

The Octopus Takoyaki though was our favourite Asain Tapas of the day. They were amazing and we would definitely recommend making sure this dish is added to your order. I personally also loved the Char Siu Buns though I ate them with soy sauce as my tangy Thai sweet chilli dipping sauce never arrived. To be honest I wasn’t fussed as there is something so good about pork filled steamed buns dipped in soy sauce. Salty delicious goodness!

It was the 1/2 Crispy Duck with Five Spice served with pancakes, cucumber, leeks, and hoi sin sauce that stole my heart and I happily devoured the majority of it. It’s a weakness I know. My friend though found the Sichuan Chicken phenomenal, but I was too full of duck to try this.

Until the 24th September Inamo will be giving away 2,008 free glasses of fizz to celebrate as well as a giveaway of four parties for up to 20 guests. This is to celebrate their 10th birthday. Just check in on Facebook or post #happybirthday on Instagram or twitter to redeem your glass of fizz. Anyone who does this will also be entered into the prize draw to win one of the four parties. You don’t have long to try this deal so get in now.

We had a great time at Inamo and will be sure to visit again.
